KIKA Medical Appoints Pharmaceutical Industry Executives to Key Business Development Positions

US expansion continues with veterans to direct sales and marketing in Midwest, West Coast

November 4 – Boston, Mass. – KIKA Medical continues the rapid growth of US operations. Two bio-pharmaceutical veterans have joined the company, which is a leading international provider of advanced electronic clinical trial solutions.

KIKA named Jennifer Toso and Jack O’Leary as Directors of Business Development for the Midwest and West Coasts, respectively.

Ms. Toso has been a sales development expert in the health care and life science market for 18 years. Prior to KIKA she was a Sales Director at Model N’s Life Science Division, responsible for software enterprise sales into large pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech companies. She has successful experience at both start-ups and large companies. Ms. Toso will open KIKA’s Midwest office in the Minneapolis area.

Mr. O’Leary has been involved in the clinical research industry as a project engineer and sales support specialist covering IT, drug safety, IVRS and EDC systems. His started his career in the 1980s as an RN and clinical nurse coordinator at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital. He also ran his own consultancy, managing projects for several large companies. In addition to his IT knowledge, Mr. O’Leary was a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for a leading CRO. He will open KIKA’s West Coast office in San Diego.
